The Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Prof. Dayo Faduyile OON, has felicitated with Nigeria’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Faduyile described the First Lady as a woman of grace, courage, compassion and unwavering commitment to the service of humanity, whose public life has been marked by dedication to family, society and the nation.
He commended her for the strength and dignity with which she has continued to discharge her responsibilities as the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly through initiatives focused on the welfare and empowerment of women, children and vulnerable members of society.
According to Faduyile, The journey of a nation’s leader is often accompanied by enormous responsibilities, and the presence of a supportive and purposeful partner can provide invaluable strength during demanding moments.
He acknowledged the First Lady’s steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and her contributions to the administration’s people-oriented initiatives.
The Senator also noted Oluremi Tinubu’s long-standing experience in public service, having served as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria before becoming First Lady, describing her experience as an asset in understanding the aspirations and challenges of ordinary Nigerians.
Faduyile, a Professor of Forensic Pathology and former President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), said the celebration of the First Lady’s birthday provides an opportunity to recognise not only her years but also her contributions to national development and humanitarian service.
He prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant the First Lady sound health, wisdom, strength and divine grace as she continues to support the President and serve the Nigerian people.
“On this special occasion, I celebrate a woman whose life continues to reflect courage, compassion, faith and service.
“May this new chapter bring you renewed strength, greater fulfilment and abundant grace to continue touching lives and contributing to the progress of our dear nation. Happy 66th birthday, Your Excellency,” Faduyile said.
Faduyile wished the First Lady many more years of good health, peace and purposeful service, while expressing his best wishes to her, the President, the First Family and the entire nation on the occasion.
