Prof. Dayo Faduyile, the Senator-elect, Ondo South Senatorial District, has received his certificate of return.
He received the certificate at the Headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), on Tuesday in Abuja.
Faduyile, flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the June 20 Ondo South Senatorial by-election with a staggering win of 68,474 votes to beat his closest contender, Engr.Adeolu Akinwumi of Allied People”s Movement (APM), who polled 1,411 votes.
Faduyile was accompanied to the INEC Headquarters by Hon.Abiola Makinde and other members of the National Assembly from Ondo State.
Faduyile said that his victory is dedicated to the masses and good people of Ondo South who reposed trust and confidence in his mandate.
He noted that Ondo South will get motions and bills from his stable which will be geared towards ensuring the development of the district.
Faduyile thanked Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his support and the strategic campaign Ondo State APC sustained which culminated in the overwhelming victory recorded last Saturday.
The Senator-elect assured his people of quality representation for the greater good of his constituents.
