The Ondo State Chapter of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) has announced a new round of appointments aimed at strengthening the operations of the group within and outside Nigeria.
In a statement, GMT confirmed the appointment of Princess Adedolapo Susan Adeshida as Head of the Medical Team. Adeshida, an alumna of Ahmadu Bello University, is a trained nurse with a Master’s degree in Public Health.
Precious Olofinyokun was named Director of New Media under the GMT Women Directorate. The Ilara-Mokin-born campaigner and advocate for girl-child education is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Project Management of Nigeria.
Emmanuel Olanrewaju Akeredolu, a United Kingdom-based student union leader from Owo, was appointed Diaspora Coordinator. He also serves as coordinator of Ondo Collectives, a platform representing over 500 Ondo State citizens in the United Kingdom.
Hassan Ahete, former Special Assistant to the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, was appointed Special Assistant on Ibira Affairs.
As part of its activities, GMT also announced the constitution of a Planning and Implementation Committee for the forthcoming Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sports Festival in Ondo State.
The five-week programme, scheduled to commence in September, will feature over 13 sporting events at the grassroots level, with the aim of discovering and nurturing young talents.

- Coach Salami Ayodeji – Deputy Director of Coaching (Rtd) (Committee Member)
- Mrs. Bola Adebiyi – Deputy Director, Organizing (Committee Member)
- Mrs. Lade Olanrewaju – Deputy Director, Organizing (Committee Member)
- Mr. Daodu Olarenwaju Alex – Deputy Director, Organizing (Rtd), former Ondo State Football Association Secretary (Committee Secretary)
- Osifo Moses – Head Coach, Boxing (Committee Member)
- Segun Giwa – State Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Committee Member)
- Ojo Laurel Mubo – Sports Broadcaster, Positive FM (Committee Member).
