The Forum of 2023 Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly Candidates has commiserated with the family of the late state chairman of the party, Alhaji Fatai Adams.
The Forum also commiserated with the entire PDP family in the state and Nigeria as a whole on the sudden demise of the party chairman and admonished them to win the forthcoming elections in late Adams’ honour.
This is contained in press statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Akure by the secretary of the Forum, Hon. Bamidele Olubunmi Ayodele (BOA).
Adams was reported to have died in the early hours of Wednesday 14th February, 2024 after a brief illness.
Describing his death as tragic and heartbreaking, the Forum prays that Allah console the wife, children and the entire family left behind by the illustrious son of Irun-Akoko in Ondo State.
“Alhaji Fatai Adams was a complete gentleman with a listening ear whose mien was a great virtue.
“We commiserate with his wife, children and members of his family over this sad and shocking incident.
“While we urge all to take solace in the fact that from Allah we all come and to him we all return, we pray that Allah grant the departed soul Al jannah Firdaus.
“We also urge the entire PDP family in the state not to be devastated by this great calamity but to rather use the incident to become stronger and more united”, the forum said.
Alhaji Fatai Adams was a member of Ondo State House of Assembly and a former Deputy State Chairman of PDP before he became the Ondo State Chairman of PDP.
