Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator-elect for Ondo South Senatorial District has delivered his polling unit 2, Idogun Ward 2, Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State to APC at the ongoing House of Assembly elections, Constituency 1.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that APC polled 136 votes to defeat People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with 127 votes.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim s younger brother, Jimoh Saliu Akinsola of PDP lost his unit to Chris Ayebusiwa of APC at nit 2, Idogun Ward 2, Igbotako where he casted his vote with Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim, a business mogul has commended the result of the election saying that the process of the election was peaceful, fair and transparent.
He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for a job well done as well as voters who vote their preffered candidate without any fear or favour. (NAN).
