Odigbo Local Government Area (LGA) team has whipped it’s Ese-Odo LGA counterpart 1-0 In a thrilling and pulsating 90 minutes football game in the Ondo South Unity Football Tournament (OSUFT) held on Friday at the Premier College, Ode-Irele in Irele LGA of the state.
Niyi Musa, No. 8 jersey of Odigbo team who displayed a sterling performance took a pass from his Ese-Odo teamate and strike a shot into the net of Ese-Odo, just two minutes stpp-watch time into the first half of the opener.

Youths of the two teams exhibited and displayed their God-given talents all through the 90 minutes match, leaving spectators to cheer with great excitment.
The youths filled with ecstacy after the match sang songs of victory for the converner of the tournament, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Ondo South in the Feb. 25 polls.
Ibrahim, billionaire business mogul who beamed with great excitments, said the tournament was initiated to develop sports interest in the youths and foster unity among them in the six LGA’s of the district.
Meanwhile, Mrs Folawe Sipasi-Aluko, Chairperson of the tornament had earlier advised the teams not to see the competition as a do-or-afffair but imbibe fair-play throughout the match.
While thanking Ibrahim for initiating the competition, she said that many talents would be dscovered through the completion urging youths to be rest assured of vibrant transfirtion in Ondo South if Ibrahim is elected at the polls.
Meanwhile, in subsiquent fixtures of the tournament, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo LGA would slug it out with Ilaje LGA on Jan. 25 in Okitipupa Government field while Okitipupa LGA would tackle Irele LGA in Ile-Oluji.
