Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Ondo South in 2023 general elections, have commended Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for constructing the flyover at Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State.
The business mogul said that the overhead bridge has ended incessant carnage at Ore/Okitipupa junction noting that the heavy traffic jam along Ore-Benin expressway has fizzled out as a result of the flyover.
He gave the commendation on Thursday in Ore during his ward to ward familiarisation visits to Odigbo and Ore wards respectively in Odigbo LGA.
Ibrahim observed that the “Redemption Bridge” as reduced the time and money spent by traders to convey their goods also said it was a relief to those who transact businesses at the Omotoso Industrial Park.
He also lauded Akeredolu on making the Industrial Park a reality which was attracting foreign investors and industries to the park which has to a great extent mopped up the labour market in the state.
Ibrahim, however, assured the residents in Ore that life would be made more better for the people, if elected as senator in 2023.
“I must commend Akeredolu on the construction of this flyover because it has brought to an end the series of ghastly accidents that usually occurred here in Ore-Okitipupa junction .
“Many lives have been lost here but we thank the governor for his wisdom for constructing the overhead bridge which put a stop to unforetold loss of lives and property.
“The bridge have reduced the time people use on the road as well as cost of conveying the goods from one place to another as there are no gridlock here like before.
“The governor have really done us a great service by putting the Industrial Park here.which have attracted foreign investors who installed their factories which have create employments for thousands of youths, men and women.
‘I am assuring residents that life will be more better with more dividenfs of democracy if you elect me as your senator next year,” Ibrahim said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ibrahim last week began his familiarisation tour to the 66 wards in the southern district, as he has completed the 10 and 12 wards in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo and Odigbo LGA’s respectively.
NAN also reports that Ibrahim would continue his ward to ward familiarisation visit to meet constituents in Irele LGA next week in preparation for 2023 general elections. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
