It is no longer news that the people of Ondo South have been witnessing economic stagnation due to years of blackout.
For many, it is a tale of woe as their socioeconomic activities have been crippled. If we can’t change this ugly situation at the moment, then we have to change our attitude.
Our voting habit must be changed if we really care to experience sustainable growth and development in Ondo South.
Change they say is a painful process but nothing is as painful as staying stuck to a place one doesn’t really belong to. Those who cannot change their mind cannot change anything.
As youths, the onus is on us to give room for new faces, fresh brains with new ideas to speak for us at the red chamber.
To change the ugly narrative on ground, we need someone who is mentally, physically, socially and financially capable. Someone who is well educated and who knows that education is the key that unlock many doors in life.
Malcom X was in the right direction when he postulated that “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today”.
Lack of proper education limits the horizon and for most of our political office holders, lack of education limits their performance.
Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR is already sitting at an enviable pedestal and has now thrown down the ladder for people to climb and join him through his senatorial ambition. He has offered himself to shoulder our responsibility in the south.
Araba is an Agent of change. Let’s keep hope alive as our beacon of hope is here to lead us in the right direction.
Vote and support Araba for senate.
