Building Ondo South the Araba way: Lessons in Jimoh Ibrahim’s Lifestyle, Hardwork, Focus

By AyoChris

Dr Jimoh Ibrahim’s dream did not become reality through magic; it took sweats, determination, and hard work to make it to the top of the echelon.

Araba of Ikale land as he is fondly called is an excellent example of how a man’s vision, focus and hard work can help one become whatever he or she wants to be.

Here is a man who was son to a bricklayer and fish selling mother from Igbotako and who rose from that dirty-poor rural backwood of Ondo State, to become a billionaire in his 30(s) and a world record breaker afterwards.

This his ‘un-usual rags-to-riches story” through hardwork and commitment is indeed an encouragement that just about anyone can make the best out of life through self determination and focus.

Araba’s childhood friend, Abiodun Raufu while attesting that Dr Jimoh Ibrahim’s hardwork is worthy of making him a successful man in any area of life recounts that a particular house which still stands till date in Igbotako had its building blocks put together by Araba’s bare hands

Araba’s philosophy is that if he can do it, coming from nowhere and with no family wealth and if not as a politician with access to un-hindered public fund or being a contractor feeding fat on un-executed projects, so can millions of young indigent of Ondo South and Nigerian youths no matter their parentage can do better.

For those saying “he is too hard for their liking” it is surely as a result of their laziness. I must say that beneath the facade is a genial and extremely simple fellow with enormous empathy for fellow humans.

Send Araba to the senate, he will deliver as always
