Prof. Ilemobayo Oguntimehin, Dean Students Affairs stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Okitipupa on Monday.

The dean said that the institution had an effective working arrangement with law enforcement agencies to ensure maximum security within the campus.
It would be recalled some students of the university recently carried out a peaceful protest against robbery, rape and other criminal activities.
The students had alleged constant invasion of their hostels by hoodlums who stole valuables such as mobile phones, clothing, electronic gadgets among others.
Oguntimehin urged the students to always seek pacific means to resolve issues with the management instead of protests.
“We had already met with security agencies concerning this matter, it was no very good that they did wait for the outcome before embarking on protect.
“ Let us always seek dialogue with the authorities, protests have the tendency to cause more problems,” he said.(NAN)
