Ebonyi varsity student hospitalised after 41-day fasting

A student of Ebonyi State University Abakaliki , Ikechukwu Oke , has been hospitalised after allegedly fasting and praying for 41 days .
According to Christian Nwaokpa , a student of the university , claimed Oke decided to embark on the spiritual exercise because of the challenges facing his family .
Nwaokpa said, “ He is from Ebiaji in Ezza North LGA. It is his nature.
“ As it stands now , men of goodwill and ambassadors are on the way conveying him to the Accident and Emergency Ward in Federal Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki .”
