The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has renamed the International Centre for Culture and Events (The Dome), Alagbaka, Akure, after former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Mimiko, who was the governor of the state from 2009 to 2017, built the facility during his tenure.
Aiyedatiwa announced the renaming on Saturday, at the birthday celebration organised in honour of the former Governor in Abuja.
“The Dome will henceforth be known as the Dr. Olusegun Mimiko International Centre for Culture and Events,” Aiyedatiwa said.
