Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, Vice Chancellor, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) Okitipupa, has felicitated the great people of Ondo State and entire Nigerians on the country’s 66th independence anniversary.
Ologunorisa said 66 years ago, the founding fathers secured for the nations freedom, unity and hope.
He added that their sacrifices laid the foundation for a sovereign Nigeria built on resilience, diversity and boundless potential.
According to him, As we mark this milestone, it is imperative that we reflect on our journey as a nation and renew our collective commitment to building the Nigeria of our dreams.
“I particularly commend the staff of OAUSTECH for their unwavering dedication, patriotism and commitment to the growth of this University.
“Your unalloyed service to the university is service to the nation.
“As a university of Science and Technology, we shall continue to contribute to national development through quality teaching, cutting-edge research and innovation.
“To all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, I urge you to remain steadfast, united and hopeful.
“The challenges confronting our nation are surmountable if we remain committed to the virtues of peace, hard work, integrity and good governance.
“On this auspicious occasion, I wish the entire university community and all Nigerians a happy and peaceful Independence Anniversary celebration,” Ologunorisa said.
