Ondo South Senator, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON has described the death of former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kunle Odidi as shocking, painful and unexpected.

Odidi reportedly passed away following a brief illness at the age of 58.

Faduyile, noted that he was a kind gentleman who will be missed by his constituents in Ilaje, the entire good people of Ondo South and Nigerians in general.

In an official condolence statement endorsed by Faduyile and made available to the press, he said late Odidi contributed his quota to the legislative growth of the state and left a foot print in the sand of time.

“Today, I identify with the family of Odidi to mourn his exit and to equally assure them that they are not alone in this trying time.

“Death diminishes humanity but as mortals, all we can do is to submit to the perfect will of God when death stalks and takes away any human.

“As we mourn the passing of this fine gentleman and a noble Ilaje politician, we can’t but appreciate the fact that he came, he saw and lived a life of commitment and service to humanity.

“On behalf of the good people of Ondo South Senatorial District, I commiserate with the entire Odidi family of Ilaje land and I want to sincerely assure them that they are not alone as we are with them in prayers too,” Faduyile said.

He asked God to grant the family the courage to bear the passing of late Odidi, who will not only be missed by family and friends but political associates in Ilaje, the state and Nigeria at large.
