Sen. Faduyile takes oath of office, resumes plenary

The Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, on Wednesday formally took the Oath of Office and Allegiance at the Red Chamber marking the official commencement of his legislative duties in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Faduyile participated in plenary proceedings for the first time, signifying the beginning of a new chapter of representation for the people of Ondo South Senatorial District.

Speaking shortly after the ceremony, he expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God and appreciated the people of Ondo South for the confidence reposed in him through their overwhelming support.

He pledged to provide purposeful, responsive, and people-centered representation that will advance the interests of the district and contribute meaningfully to national development.

“I am deeply honored by the trust the good people of Ondo South have placed in me.

“I assure our constituents that I will be a strong voice for our people, championing policies and initiatives that promote development, economic growth, quality healthcare, education, youth empowerment, and improved infrastructure across our communities,” he stated.

The Senator further emphasized his commitment to working collaboratively with fellow lawmakers, government institutions, and relevant stakeholders to attract developmental projects and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every part of Ondo South.

As he begins his legislative journey, Senator Faduyile called on constituents to continue their support, prayers, and constructive engagement, assuring them that his office will remain accessible and dedicated to serving the collective interests of the district.
