Birthdays are joyful milestones that celebrate life, resilience and enduring impact. Today, as Distinguished Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim CFR, Ph.D marks another year, it is a proud moment to honour a statesman whose vision, strength of Legislative leadership and commitment to service continue to inspire Ondo South and the nation at large.
His journey reflects dedication, excellence and a consistent drive to make meaningful difference in public life.
In the National Assembly, his contributions have been strategic and development driven. The passage of the Bitumen Development Commission Bill, now awaiting Presidential assent, remains a landmark achievement designed to unlock Ondo State’s vast bitumen resources and stimulate economic growth, job creation and industrial expansion. The initiative reflects thoughtful representation focused on long term prosperity.
Beyond politics, Sen. Ibrahim’s over two decades of business leadership demonstrate resilience and foresight. His sustained success across sectors serves as a model for young Nigerians in enterprise, academia and public service, proving that knowledge and determination can produce lasting results.
His establishment of the University of Fortune in Ikale land stands as a transformative investment in education, expanding access to tertiary learning, creating employment and strengthening regional development.
On this birthday, I celebrate his vision, leadership and enduring legacy. May he enjoy continued divine health and greater accomplishments ahead.
