Ondo South Senatorial hopeful and former Secretary to Ondo State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu has joined Nigerians to congratulate all as the world celebrates Saint Valentine’s Day.
Saint Valentine’s Day is globally celebrated on February 14th to appreciate the commitment and sacrifice of Saint Valentine to a genuine love and passion.
Princess Odu noted that February 14th goes beyond lip service to loving one another and goes beyond the vain exchange of gifts, adding that Valentine preaches commitment to the vow of love between couples and commitment to a sustainable relationship even among lovers.
Princess Odu noted that if we love one another our community will have peace and there will be more mutual cooperation among the people. She maintained that in the ambience of love there is peace and people cooperate for national growth.
Odu called on the youths not to misappropriate the theme of Valentine Day celebration as it is not all about soiree and consummating immoral social engagement,
“Avoid the temptation to get carried away by the excitement of the Lovers Day celebration because it takes mature adults to fall in love and not just some over excited sentiment of love being misunderstood,” Odu said.
The former Secretary to Ondo State Government (SSG) who is gunning for the Senatorial ticket of Ondo South to replace the incumbent Senator , Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim now an Ambassador Designate, advised the youths to allow a flow of genuine love that will lead to serious relationship and not just the spontaneous flow of emotions that tilt more towards lust to seize their youthful and impressionable mind set today.
She charged the good people of Ondo South Senatorial District to love one another, love the district and work for the development of the area in thought and in deed.
