Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo, who represented Ondo South Senatorial District in the 9th Senate, has congratulated his brother, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, on his confirmation and appointment as Permanent Secretary by Ondo’ State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
This is contained in a statement signed by his aide, Ayodeji Allen, on Monday.
It would be recalled that Gov. Aiyedatiwa approved the confirmation of 32 Permanent Secretaries including Tpl Abimbola Tofowomo.
According to the senator, I congratulate my brother, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, on his well-deserved appointment as Permanent Secretary.
“This recognition reflects his years of diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service,” the Senator said.
He also commended the Governor for the transparent and merit-based process that produced the appointments.
“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Aiyedatiwa, for demonstrating fairness and impartiality in this exercise.
“The appointments clearly show that merit, competence, and quality of service remain the guiding principles of this administration,” he stated.
Sen. Tofowomo further described the appointment as timely, noting that his brother’s dedication to duty earned him the position.
“My brother has earned this responsibility through dedicated service in the Ondo State Civil Service, and I am confident that he will justify the trust placed in him,” he said.
He concluded by wishing the new Permanent Secretary well.
“I wish him wisdom, strength, and success as he contributes meaningfully to the growth and effective administration of Ondo State,” the Senator added.
