The petite Nollywood actress, Ajara Lasisi, widely known as Aunty Ajara, has died after her struggle with liver disease.
It would be recalled that the actress had been seriously ill, prompting her colleagues, including Wunmi Toriola, Foluke Daramola, Mama Nonetwork, and others, to seek public donations for her medical care.
On Thursday, Nollywood actor TeeMony took to Instagram to announce Aunty Ajara’s passing.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who showed love and supported her with prayers during her illness.
Her colleagues had been sharing videos wishing her a speedy recovery before her death.
Aunty Ajara appeared in numerous films, including ‘Gingerrr’, ‘Queen Lateefah’, and ‘Isiti’, alongside actors such as Toyin Abraham, Adeniyi Johnson, and Wumi Toriola
