A private jet operated by Flybird on Sunday morning crash-landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano State.
A source within the airport, who spoke with newsmen on condition of anonymity, said the aircraft was carrying 11 occupants, including three crew members, when the incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. local time.
The aircraft, with registration number 5N-ISB, departed Abuja for Kano but encountered difficulty while landing due to a reported landing gear failure, forcing it to crash-land.
The source confirmed that all passengers were safely evacuated and that no injuries were recorded.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the relevant authorities.
However, investigations have commenced, and a detailed report is expected to be released to the public by the appropriate officials.
