Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has ordered a dawn-to-dusk curfew in Owo town, till further notice due to the ongoing violent cult clashes and security disturbances which has led to loss of lives,
Aiyedatiwa gave the order in a statement signed and released by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan his Chief Press Secretary on Monday in Akure
All residents are required to remain indoors during the curfew. Only essential services, such as hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement, will be exempted from the curfew.
The Governor has also asked secutiry agencies in the state to enforce the curfew, ensure safety of lives, properties, arrest perpetrators of the violence and restore peace to the community.
