Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, Vice Chancellor, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, has said the vision, leadership style and dedication to the people of Ondo State is a testament of Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa victory at the Nov. 16 polls
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Aiyedatiwa of All Progressives Congress (APC), secured 366,781 votes, defeating his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 117,845 votes at the Nov. 16 governorship election.
Ologunorisa, in his congratulatory message on Monday in Okitipupa, also said Aiyedatiwa’s tireless work to address the state’s challenges and create a brighter future for its citizens saying gave him the victory.
The VC expressed optimism about the governor’s ability to drive growth and development in the state, citing his commitment to addressing pressing issues such as infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and security among others.
Ologunorisa, also highlighted the potential impact of Aiyedatiwa’s victory on OAUSTECH, particularly as the university embarked on maritime programmes at Ugbo Nla next year.
He noted that the governor’s commitment to keying Ondo State into the Blue Economy would benefit the university.
According to him, Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and vision for Ondo State, his excellence iand dedication to the people of the state is a testament of his well deserved victory.
“His victory is a significant milestone for APC in the state and the good people of Ondo State because he has always pledge to work tirelessly to address the state’s challenges and create a brighter future for its citizens.
“His commitment to keying Ondo State into the Blue Economy will translate into uplifting OAUSTECH.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff and Students of OAUSTEC I warmly congratulate our governor on his victory at the polls.
