Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly has appointed Sikemi Anita Atibere and Olumide Robert Olubakinde as Senior Legislative Assistants on Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament.
Bola Olagbegi, the Chief of Staff to the senator announced on Friday that the appointment takes immediate effect.
He added that the new appointees shall proceed to Togo immediately for parliamentary engagement
Until their appointment, Atibere was a former supervisor from Ilaje Local Government Area (LGA) while Olubakinde was from Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo LGA in Ondo South Senatorial District.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently inaugurated Sen. Ibrahim as a member of the ECOWAS) Parliament.
Sen. Ibrahim, a billionaire business mogul has been representing Nigeria at the economic parliament of West African sub-region.
