APC declares Ondo primary inconclusive, holds rerun in Okitipupa LGA

Having received reports of the primary election from the 203 Wards in the 18 Local Government Areas (LGA’s) of Ondo State, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Primary Election Committee has declared the election inconclusive.

This is contained in a statement Signed by the Gov. Usman Ododo of Kogi State and Chairman of the Ondo Primary Election Committee.

The statement has announced rerun election in all the 13 Wards of Okitipupa LGA with total validated registered members of 9,515.

Having received reports of the primary election from the 203 Wards in the 18 LGA of Ondo State, the Primary election Committee has decided that election will be conducted in all the 13 Wards of Okitipupa LGA with total validated registered members of 9,515.

“Because of validated reports that the exercise did not hold in the LGA due to late arrival of materials and personnel as a result of logistics challenges.

“Election in Okitipupa LGA shall be conducted 12 noon on Sunday April 21.

“The final collation of the results will be done thereafter”, the statement said.
