Senator representing Ondo South, Senatorial District, Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR has shared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu rice to Muslims, Christians, Royal Fathers , NURTW/ RTEAN , Local Government Area (LGA) executives of All Progressives Congress ((APC) and 66 wards across the senatorial district of the state on Tuesday at University of Fortune, Igbotako.
Ibrahim while addressing the leaders of the drivers, market women, CAN, Muslim and APC members disclosed that the rice are not from him but he will provide money for their transportation.
“The rice are bought by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, a renewed hope palliatives by the president to relieve hardship in Ondo South Senatorial District.
“As your Senator, I will provide transportation fare to carry it to your respective LGA’s, wards and units.
An interview of Aseyori media with the chairman of local committee on the distribution, Dr Segun Ayodele, he charged the leaders in charge of the rice to make sure the rice get to people in lower echelon in the Senatorial District.
“There is no country without social inequality, the rice are not for people that can afford it but people that can’t afford it in other to relieve the hardship in the country,” he said..
When thanking the Senator on behalf of others , Pastor (Dr) Gbelela, representative of CAN salutes his selfless service.
” I urge other political leaders to imbibe Sen. Ibrahim, CFR, his transparency and commitment to alleviate poverty is worthy of emulation,” he said.
