Hon Olawunmi Fayemi-Obayelu, member representing Ilaje Constituency II at the Ondo State House of Assembly, has emerged winner of the FEMALE ICON of the year 2023.
The award was orgarnised by Lead Awatds.
This was contained in a statement signed by Felix Lemadoro, Senior Assistant on Media, Students and Youths to Fayemi-Obayelu on Monday and made available to newsmen in Okitipupa.
Fayemi-Obayelu who was ably represented at the event by her Personal Assistant, Mr Bamidele Ebigbemi to received the award, thanked the orgarnisers of the event and those who voted het to enable her win the award.
The award has no fewer than five nominees including; Mrs Beatrice Funke Ogunmola, Mrs Dupe Ademola Popoola, RT. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, Hon. Fayemi-Obayelu and Actress Sola Sobowale.
It would be recalled that Fayemi-Obayelu received the award few days after she received Impactful Representation Legend Award orgarnised by Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioner Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Ondo State chapter.
“The awards has shown the quality representation and good leadership of Fayemi-Obayelu,” Lemadoro said.
