Hon. Fayemi-Obayelu awards scholarships, distributes school materials to 600 students in Ondo

Hon. Olawunmi Fayemi Obayelu, Member, representing, Ilaje Constituency 2 of Ondo State House of Assembly, has awarded a year scholarship to no fewer than 100 students in a bid of delivering some of her campaign promises to her constituency.

The lawmaker has also
distributed writing and school materials to no fewer than 500 students across her constituency.

Fayemi-Obayelu said the materials are given to lessen to the stress of parents due to the current situation of the country.

It would be recalled that the lawmaker commenced her summer lesson programme to order to give back to her constituency some months ago which was closed on Friday September 1, 2023 in 10 centers across her Constituency.

The Summer lesson was both helpful to the students in all centres and the teacher as it provided an avenue to utilise their precious time.

In furtherance to encourage more students and pay attention to education, the 100 students who are beneficiaries of the scholarship award would not pay tuition for a year in their respective schools.

According to Fayemi-Obayelu, giving back to the society as a lawmaker through every necessary means is my priority.

The following schools used for her summer lesson programme and for the purpose of verification the mentioned schools below are referenced.

They are: St. Barnaba’s primary School, Mahintedo, Zion C&S Primary School, Oke-Ipare. FAC Primary School, Igbokoda and St. Jude’s Anglican Primary School, Atijere.

Others are: Community Primary School, Kofawe, L.A Pilot Primary School, Ode-Mahin, Zion FAC Primary School, Gbabijo, St. Philip’s Primary School, Ereke, St. Saviuor’s Primary School, Etugbo and Community Primary School, Moferere.
