Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo, (PDP Ondo South), has urged Nigerians to rekindle the hope of a better Nigeria by electing good leaders in the 2023 General Elections.
Tofowomo, gave the message of hope in a statement signed his media aide, Mr Olumide Akinrinlola, to commemorate Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary on Saturday in Okitipupa.
He urged Nigerians to reflect on starting a new chapter by electing good leaders who would lead Nigeria positively to fight unemployment, poverty, injustice and restructure the imbalance system to make life more meaningful.
The lawmaker also prayed that God should hold the country together in peace and unity devoid of any any civil war which would disintegrate the country for her to achieve her purpose for her children.
“All Nigerians should be able to see the future to produce a president that will lead Nigeria positively to fight unemployment, poverty, injustice and restructure the imbalance system to make life more meaningful.
“We have come of age, we are 62 years old today amid daunting set of challenges, yet, the birth of democracy which allowed us to elect a new set of leaders every four years has shown that our challenges are not insurmountable.
“May God hold this country together for us not to experience any civil war.
“May God bless Ondo South, Ondo and Nigeria at large, happy anniversary to all Nigerians,” Tofowomo said. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
