Ahead 2023 guber poll in Lagos State, Funke Akindele, a veteran Nollywood actress popularly known as ‘Jenifa’, has been chosen as the running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate.
Akindele emerged the running mate to the Governorship Candidate, Dr.Abudul Olajide Adediran by beating other five nominees for the position.
Multiple sources close to the party’s Governorship Candidate in the state popularly known as Jandor, and the leadership of the party in the state, confirmed the development to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos.
