Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo, representing PDP Ondo South at the National Assembly has promised to roll out more empowerment to his constituents to commemorate the yuletide.
Towofomo made this promise on Saturday in his yuletide goodwill message to his constituents in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr Olumide Akinrinlola on Saturday in Okitipupa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Tofowomo recently empowered no fewer than 250 constituents on solar power training and installation for them to be self employed.
“As a mark of the Christmas and new year celebration, I promise to roll out more empowerment materials from next week to 2022 to my constituents for them to be self employed.
“I will not renege in my determination to empower as many as I can to make lives bearable for the good people of Ondo South, notwithstanding the economic situation of Nigeria.
“I wish my people a Merry Christmas, and I pray for a prosperous and peaceful new year,” Tofowomo said.
The Senator also urged his constituents to celebrate tbe season in love, unity and peace devoid of any rancour or anything that would jeopadise the peace and umity of the state and country at large. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
