Akeredolu commiserate with former Sen. Kulere over death of mother

Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has commiserated with Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere, entire family and people of Igbotako, on the death of Mama Victoria Oseyemi Kunlere who died at 91years.

The Thanksgiving service of the Late Mrs. Victoria Oseyemi-Kunlere, held on Friday at St. John Anglican Church, Igbotako.

“Mama’s death is a great loss to the children but i want to urge you to take solace in the fact that mama lived a fulfilled life and left legacies of good Christian life and educated children,from tribute, she was a lover of children, a peacemaker and cheerful giver”.


Akeredolu, therefore, enjoined mama’s children to emulate her good virtues and preserve the legacies she left behind.

The secretary to the state government, SSG, Princess Oladunni Odu, who represented the Governor, also appealed to the people of Igbotako to pray for the success of Mr. Governor, in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

“I know you are aware that Mr. Governor recently appointed my good self, your daughter as secretary to the state government SSG, the first in the history of the state”.

“As appreciation for his good gesture, i appeal to you to support the government as one good turn deserved another”. Akeredolu said.

Dignitaries at the event are; the former deputy Governor of Ondo state, Chief Ali Olanusi; the Bishop Anglican Diocese on the Coast, Bishop Seyi Pirisola; former Chairman of Okitipupa LGA, Chief Ayeniyi Olayeye; wife of the late Bishop of the Diocese, Mrs. Ogunele, among others.
