Some thugs who invaded the Inksnation foodstuffs market on Tuesday in Okitipupa, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State caused stampede as they carted away foodstuffs and other items to be distributed to residents.
Inksnation is an internet based world acclaimed charity organisation that deals in cryto-currency known as pincoin, meant to give registrants life-time opportunity of using pincoin to purchase goods and other items
Newspread247 reports that the invasion of the thugs caused a stampede among the mammoth crowd that besieged Methodist Primary School, venue of the Inksnation market which opened with several foodstuffs, vegetable oil, tomato paste, beef, chickens and what-a-view.
The market based on tranfering of pincoin to exchangers by registrants had began in a peaceful atmosphere but later turned a stampede as residents scampered for safety as thugs invaded the venue, distrupted the process and carted away several foods items.
The thugs overpowered the Ondo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps as many residents sustained varying degrees of injuries in the process.
Mr Adewale Omotola, an Inksnation registrant said that the thugs had dashed his hope of getting foodstuffs for himself and his children.
“We are here to use our pincoin to buy foodstuffs, but the thugs came in and distrupt the process which have dashed my hope of getting foodstuffs for myself and children.
Another resident who sustained injuries, Mr Akeem Okuneyin said that there was high hunger in tbe land and that was why so many people trooped to the venue of the market.
“Government need to do something fast about food in this country, see the crowd here for the foodstuffs that can not even go round, but many will still have benefited if not for the thugs, ” he said.
Mrs Adejoke Igbasan, an Inksnation registrant also said that masses are suffering and needed a succour and that was why she registered for the inksnation.
Meanwhile, Mr Precious Momoh, Inksnation Secretary General who condemned the action of the thugs said that they dashed the hopes of the masses who would have benefited from the foodstuffs market opened across the nation.
“The Inksnation market opened across the country and many people has benefitted from it, I do not understand why the thugs should distrupt the peaceful process here.
“And let me tell you, Inksnation in not a scam as been peddled, it a charity organisation not only in Nigeria but in other countries of the world,” Momoh said.

Ondo State the Lord will surely deliver you from the bad acts you keep on displaying mostly at Okitipupa. You people should change for better it is not hunger,it is laziness. There are land around them which they refused to work on. What a shame. Heal our land Lord.
Those thugs are enemies of progress and of the poor hungry masses. As the Lord liveth and his spirit livet, they will surely pay for their wicked act.
